The Need for Discipleship

In many modern churches, discipleship has become one of the most neglected aspects of Christian life. While churches often emphasize worship services, community events, and outreach programs, the intentional process of helping believers grow in their faith and live out the teachings of Jesus is often overlooked. Many new believers are left to navigate their spiritual journey on their own after salvation, without the guidance or accountability that true discipleship provides. This lack of mentorship and personal investment has led to shallow faith, spiritual immaturity, and a generation of Christians who may know about Jesus but struggle to live like Him.

 

Rectifying this issue is vital for the health and strength of the Church. Step Up Ministries, Inc. was created to help fill this need. By providing ministry resources and strengthening relationships between believers in various stages of their walk with Chirst, we pray that God will continue to help us fulfil his Great Commission to us!
